Maggie Gotcher was raised in Bryan County, and now resides in Denison, TX with her husband, Kyle Gotcher. Maggie still holds a special place in her heart for the Bryan County community and has served for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) for over five years. In her previous role as an Early Childhood Administrator for CNO, she participated in outreach events and recruitment efforts for disadvantaged families within a variety of communities. Maggie’s current role with the Choctaw Nation is serving as a Grant Writer, in this role she works collaboratively with an array of leadership while providing a service of producing a strong application and applying for federal and foundational grants. Maggie brings a strong background in grant implementation, project planning and communication skills to The Payton Project. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and looks forward to furthering her education in the future. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys quality time with friends, family and taking her two dogs on evening walks. Maggie strives to be an advocate and support to those around, and with a calming character she demonstrates the ability to work and build trust-based relationships at all levels. She takes pride in her work and with the Lord’s guidance, she seeks to live a life that represents Him.
